     Seasonal cold weather has done me well this winter. Pushing me to load up on the knits, furs, and collard coats. Scared to know what Ill have to wear once spring hits and I have a closet full of winter. But in the meantime Ill enjoy bundling up in these vintage pieces I purchased at my work. Finally found a perfect fitting Lapel coat that doesnt have un flattering shoulder pads or undesirable box cut. This coat won my love when I saw the princess styled construction lines detail on the back. Was a winner! Snaped these shots after a hangout celebration with best friend Jr Millama for finishing our 1st semester of design classes. Shared some laughs over milk tea and brick toast at local hot spot "Eden Cafe" in downtown fullerton. Then explored this hidden court yard filled with high end boutiques and the finest dinnings. Things you find when your a curious wanderer.

Im dreaming of a White Christmas

      Already planning my holiday attire with some ispiration from Spanish moss. This Christmas I plan to go all out with the classy whites and brights, starting with fur coats, shag cardis, and some nice pair of new evelated shoes im excited to get. Going to be many look post in the next few weeks so keep an eye out, and if you need some fun new year eve silhouettes ideas I got many new ideas you can try out which will be in my next two post:) My weeks filled with finals and many concept design boards. Vintage Beverely Hills American Cropped Sweater/ Pop Killer Heart Shaped Shades/ Giani Bernini Clutch Purse/ Metallic Midnight Jeffrey Campbells Litas

    This is definatly one of my fun pieces I liked putting together. I stumbled upon this vintage American flag cropped sweater at Buffalo Exchange and it screamed awsomeness! Paired it with some high waisted black short, metallic Litas, and my fun heart shaped shades to play it up. Definatly turn heads at school with questions asking "Happy fourth of July?" Who says it has to be Independence Day to wear Stars n Stripes. Forsure some fun piece to your wardrobe is what keeps it exciting! Stay warm everyone cuz Winter is offically here! xo- Maritza  

Metallic Midnight

Vintage Guns n Roses Tee/ Vintage Baseball Jean Jacket/ Switchblade Leopard print pants/ Jeffrey Campbell Metallic Midnight Litas

          Second look post from my shoot with Opluen studio. With this look I decided I wanted to go totally opposite from my last and give it a little more carefree, funky, badass feel. I spotted these awsome Leopard print skinnies while working at Buffalo Exchange for an amazing price of $14, which really played up my look and went well with a Guns n Roses fringe tee, Vintage baseball jean jacket, and a pair of Metallic blue Litas. Loved playing around with these awsome finds and breaking in my first pair of Litas. Thanks again to Tatsu for his amazing skill and work! Also if you live near the Fullerton area, tomarrow is Fullerton's Fashion Students Fall Fashion Show "Escape from Wonderland" at the Wilshire Auditorium at 7pm come stop by and watch some pretty amazing work.     Hey Guys! So last week I got to shoot at Opluen Studios and Showroom in the center of Downtown LA and work with an amazing photographer Tatsu Bholanath. I had so much fun styling my own looks with some of my favorite pieces from this month. This tawny colored cropped sweater worked well with my long lace skirt, with a pair of simple colored Campbells which I did find these pieces at my work! I find that half of my closet now is from Buffalo Exchange and I now refuse to pay full price for fashion! Thrifters all the way! Keeping myself busy this month with little projects and late night trend reports. Keep a look out for more looks from this shoot in the next post! November Mixed Theme Board

    Mixed some inspirations photos to create a mix board of my November feel. My winter closet consist of oversized knits, band shirts, and long sheer skirts. Trading in the tanks/dresses for some cozy sweaters at work was worth it!         Just a quick look post of my newest thrift find. Found this simple cut, boat neckline dress at Thrift Store "DeeLux" on Monday along with these fun heart shaped eyewear at one of my favorite  Japanese stores "Pop Killer". I know its no where near Feburary but love can still be in the air in Novemember! Finally getting the feel of cream whites and brights for Winter season:) xo- Maritza
