Downtown to Melrose

Vintage Black Fur coat-American Vintage/ Leopard Blouse- Forgein Exchange/ Thrift Black Denim Short/ Black Crochet Shall- Avenue/PopKiller Round Flip Shades/Forlove21 Gold Cuff/ Safety Platform- Jeffrey Campbell

This post I was very eager and excited to post beacuse of the overflow of amazing shots Stephanie Yu took on Wednesday on our adventure to Downtown and upper parts of L.A. We first made our stop at downtown hot spot "Erth Cafe" where we found random alleys, over decoratded christmas tree, and many locals. In my first look I was wearing a christmas present I recieved this year that I was excited to blog about! This vintage black fur coat was a good find at one of my favorite shops "American Vintage". I paired it with a Leopard blouse I purchased at my work along with some classy tights and my new Campbells. Next Me and Stephanie hit up Melrose St. in West Hollywood where we found some good deals as well as amazing street style. Stephanie took a picture of a guy that screamed total L.A. street style. In my second look I decided to throw over this crochet shall which drapes amazingly on any figure.  Thank you so much Stephanie for these amazing photos and our fun adventure wandering around L.A. Cant wait to see where our next project takes us! -Maritza M.

Black Velvet Christmas

Black Velvet Tulle dress-H&M/ Creme Shagg Cardi-Spicy Girl clothing/ Nylon knee highs/ Metallic Midnight Litas- Jeffrey Campbells

Merry Christmas Everyone! Decided to wait and post my first Christmas post on Christmas morning while the day is still fresh and new. Cant believe its almost been a year since I started this blog and how much time and effort I put in to create new stuff for my readers. I love every min. of it! Hope everyone enjoys being with family this Christmas and remember the first six letters of Christmas because thats the most important part!:) Now to my outfit I wore to a Christmas Eve dinner last night... Decided to go with a little classic black dress with the velvet top and tulle attached skirt. Found this dress for only $12 at my work that screamed prefect Holiday attire. Topped it with this shagg cardigan I bought at Pop killer that kept me warm and added a little more elegant feel to my look.   Shot these photos with best friend, co-worker, and amazing photographer Stephanie Yu! We decided to tryout this amazing hidden location Stephanie knew of in Rowland Heights. It flowed very well with my soft holiday look and we also had fun creating this winter wonderland setting with these giant paper mache snow flakes. Thank you so much Steph for these amazing photos and Im so excited for our up and coming project this wed. in L.A.! Ill post my second look with Stephanie in my next post so keep an eye out! Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas:) xo- Maritza M.

'Tis the season to pile on the sequins

Glitter and Sequins is a definate for the New Years ensemble and I cant wait! Heres a little inspiration board I put together to get the creativity moving. You can either walk out with an all sequins silhouette with a dramtic open back or cutout, or you can go with a solid silhouette and accessorize with a glitter gold clutch or glitter bold statement elevated shoes. Havent decided which direction Im going to go yet but either one I know will create a holiday festive fashion forward look.

And here's a sneek peak of yesturdays shoot with good friend & photographer Stephanie Yu. Ill have details and more in the next post:) xo-Maritza
