Sitting on the Dock

Maroon silk skirt- Wasteland/ Slouchy Knit- Fora/  Vinatge shoulder bag- Fossil/ Necklace- LoveIt / Coltrane- Jeffrey Campbell

Santa Barbara day 2!! As beautiful as the weather was in SB there was still a slight cold breeze, so it was pretty appropriated to wear a long skirt and slouchy knit. Also got to break in my new walking shoes:)) Say hello to my new best friends "Coltranes" by Jeffrey Campbell. I needed a cute flat boot in my collection of elevated shoes. As tradition we needed to take a moment to admire the silents of the Santa Barbara shore while eating a bag full of sugar from the piers candy shop! Cheers to chocolate covered gummy bears and a sunset view with my best friends:) A beautiful snap shot Leah took of Rob and I that makes me wish I was there all over again. Santa Barbara...you were too good to me:) We shall see each other again:)) Thank god its Summer.. its the time of Travel.

Courthouse Palace: Santa Barbara

Crochet Ivory Dress- Phanuel/ Beige Knit- Fora/ LoveIt Headpiece, earring, ring/ Vintage shoulder bag- Fossil/ Two-Tone nude platforms- Qupid

Back from a weekend of fun filled exploitation of Santa Barbara, California! What a better way to start summer off than with a 3 day getaway with your best friends:) For the past 5 years this has been my getaway city... from the beach , to shopping on State St., to the beautiful view from the Tower, I cant ask for a better getaway. Only a three hr. train ride up the beautiful coast from Orange County and this is where my exploring began. Hitting up every boutique and restaurant in site can get to be a lot of walking, but no worries when you can have a 25 cent trolley take you some point a to b. No fooling the SB locals though, they know your not from around there when your dressed in heels, dresses, and wearing bright lipstick. Finally got to see how the SB students spend their weekend nights hitting up Isla Vista party streets. A pretty eventful weekend and wouldn't have spend it with any other people than Rob and Leah<3 And for the 1st SB look I purchased this cream lace dress with a a slouchy knit while gazing around the historical 1920s courthouse. Stay tune for my other SB weekend look!

Torch Magazine Shoot: Style Vixens

Modeling with Erica Winkler & Marcy Liggins- Photos courtesy of Robert Sudgen  for Torch Mag.
Photographer:JVD

Finally got to see the outcome of the Torch Magazine shoot that was taken back in Feburary! Looking at these photos reminds me how fun it was working with these amazing people. Favorite part about the shoot was the intense energy you feed off the other models to create a amazing photo. Funny because most of what I can remember was switching into a new look every 10mins while rushing to a new location.. but I enjoyed every minuet of it;) Pretty much every outfit you see is thrifted/Buffalo Exchange piece..yaay for recycled clothing! Look out for the online Torch Magazine launch coming up this month! I will post the link when its up! Photography done by JDV, Styling done by Robert Sudgen!
