Copper Gold Sequins Dress-Vintage/ Turquoise Gem Necklace-PopKiller/ Giani Bernini Black clutch-Thrift/ Suede Saftey Platform- Jeffrey Campbell
Starting the new year in Gold and sequins! Wore this amazing vintage find for my 2012 celebration. Every year I search for the perfect festive dress for my New Year's night of fun and Ive never gotten this lucky. As I was buy training at my work, we get to look through many piles of unwanted clothing and everyonce in awhile I find perfection. When this vintage piece was layed over the counter I immideatly said, "Thats my dress." Instead of looking for my New Years dress this year it came to me! I fell in love with the 1930s shoulder pads, backless detail, and the open slit that made it easy to walk in. Paired it with a tuquoise gem I purchased at one of my favorite Japanese stores Pop Killer which combined gave me the modern vintage romantic I was going for. Shots these photos with photographer Zack Dinh who capture perfect shots for this dress. Thanks Zack!

The Recap of 2011
2011 was a life changing and milestone year for me. Many events, specail occasions, and growing up took place and I would like to take a moment to look back and share. Started off the year celebrating my 18th year of living on Jan.25th! Next I got my licsence and started my independence of taking myself places. Also in May of 2011 I got asked to my senior prom by my best friend Robert and we took the dance floor keeping it classy. I finally graduated in June of 2011 from 4 years of craziness! Cant explain the accomplished feeling you get when you grab your diploma and scream "Class of 2011!". Most exciting part of my year was starting my 1st year in college and finally starting my studies in Fashion Design. Met passionate students and now best friends to share my love of the fashion industry with! I also graduated from my family, love, and passion... Underground Dance Team. I started dancing with UG my sophomore year in HS with this amazing family and team and I sadley out aged this year. But I now can say im a UG alumni!! UGson forever! I got my 1st job in the year 2011! Starting at JP to now working at my favorite thrift store I would have never dreamed of working at "Buffalo Exchange"! Last but certainly not least, I started this blog in may of 2011!! And this May 2012 I will have been a fashion blogger for a year! I really took leaps of faith in the year 2011 and decided to focus my full time into what I live and breathe for which is design! Thank you 2011 you were good to me.
